CHE BELLA SORPRESA!! Today our intermediate students surprised prof. Applauso for his birthday with a wonderful celebration and singing and card! The Applauso Italian Learning Center is honored to share that we have received a citation from BALTIMORE COUNTY EXECUTIVE John Olszewski delivered by Carmen Christiana from the County Executive's Office last Friday. THANK YOU for this inspiring recognition to acknowledge our contribution to the community; we will post more pictures of our Festa di Natale soon, but this was an amazing surprise! It looks like our small business is making some difference in our great Baltimore County Community!   Christmas in Italy starts on December 8th with the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Italians typically put up the Christmas tree and the Presepe. We did the same at the Applauso Italian Center! A Special thanks for Codirector Jeannette! We are ALL READY FOR OUR FESTA DI NATALE TOMORROW!  I hope you can come to our Christmas party (ROAST PORK, ITALIAN POTLUCK, AND CHRISTMAS SINGING) next week on Friday 13th at 6:30 p.m. (if you will be in the area) @ the Applauso Italian Learning Center in 2331 York Road, Suite 300 in Timonium, MD. FREE EVENT OPEN TO EVERYONE! It will be our FIRST annual Christmas Celebration with potluck and Italian holiday singing. Come and meet other Italian students of Italian or anyone who shares your love for Italy and Italian culture with food, music...and some vino! More information is attached here.  Remembering a wonderful field trip at The Walters Art Museum with our intermediate students David, Caroll and Vicki a few weeks ago! Great job in presenting the artwork of Guido Reni, Tiziano & Vasari    Remembering our grand opening last Saturday: We had a special blessing by Padre Claudio from Our Lady of Fatima Church and he got some help from little TOMMASO!
