The Applauso Italian Learning Center is dedicated to build new Italian programs and support students in need who are studying Italian language from various public and private schools as well as to sponsor local Italian and Italian American associations in the state of Maryland with charitable giving donations.
Supporting Local Italian American Associations
Every year the Applauso Italian Learning Center donates to local Italian American associations and supports local Italian heritage festivals in Baltimore, MD. Among the many associations supported by the Applauso Italian Learning Center we would like to mention the Grand Lodge of Maryland of the Order Sons and Daughter of Italy in America (OSDIA), which is the largest and oldest national organization for men and women of Italian heritage, the Promotion Center for Little Italy, The Italian Heritage Festival in Little Italy, The Madonnari Arts Festival, and The Maryland Italian Festival.
Developing new Italian Programs and Supporting Students in Need
As an active member of the Associated Italian American Charities of Maryland, Prof. Applauso is actively involved with the local community and strives to establish more opportunities in schools for the learning of Italian language and culture. Every year he supports university students in need who excel in their Italian language courses and are using their newly acquired academic skills for personal and professional development and for the advancement of their own lives and careers.
