The Purgatorio class begins on Tuesday, April 6th and continues every Tuesday evening for 12 weeks.

You are invited to embark in an extraordinary journey. This course focuses on one of the most important Italian masterpieces of all time: Dante’s Divine Comedy. By reading the original medieval text (alongside with modern Italian and English translations), students will deepen their understanding of the Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso by appreciating its moral construction and satirical tradition as well as learning how Dante’s work connects to contemporary morality, literature, music, art, and cinema.
