Very humbled and honored to take part to the national event of the Maggio dei Libri in San Gimignano Italy by invitation of the city and mayor. My public lecture will take place on May 28 2022 in the biblioteca comunale and it will be free and open to the public! Grazie Carolina Taddei e sindaco Andrea Marrucci for the opportunity to share my work on Folgore in the Manhattan of the Middle Ages   Prof. Antonio and Lea Puliti teaching Italian to the children at Mays Chapel Elementary! Hear the children practicing out loud the house vocabulary IN ITALIAN! Buona Pasqua a tutti...especially to those who mix up Easter eggs with Bocce balls (sono un po` simili)!!! The recent shocking episode between Will Smith and Chris Rock offers a possibility to better understand one of the most challenging grammar topics in the Italian language: The difference between the imperfetto and passato prossimo tenses. We had a lesson on cloth and Euro; the children practiced and collaborated with WRITING words and FULL SENTENCES IN ITALIAN! See them here all in action! They also learn how to negotiate in Italian and also practiced with the Euro and cloth vocabulary. This week we will talk about planets and the solar system and make HOMEMADE GNOCCHI!!     We had a blast last week as we finished the beginning levels classes and celebrated the students' achievement with a delicious potluck with excellent Italian food! Grazie a tutti gli studenti!
