Fun lesson today with our Italian 101 class: students learned how to describe people and write complete sentences with nouns and adjectives describing themselves to each other! BRAVISSIMI!   Prof. Applauso is honored to be at Stony Brook University to commemorate Prof. Mario Mignone: One of the greatest scholars of Italian history and culture of modern times and one of the major promoters of Italian Studies in the U.S. It is good to be here in Long Island, which has the largest population of Italian Americans in the US.! It was a delight to meet such great colleagues and scholars and share my memories and future projects with everybody!     Our Intermediate Italian class @the Applauso Italian Center started yesterday, and we already have a record enrollment of almost 20 students (11 students in person and 6 online)! We have only 2 spots available in person before we are ALL SOLD OUT (plenty of room online)!
