The History of Italians and Little Italy in Maryland (from 1634 to 2021!). This event will be part of the Italian Heritage Festival on Sunday October 3rd in Baltimore Little Italy. It will be from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. (come by anytime in between to learn interesting facts about this!) I hope you can join us!

I hope you guys can make it to join THIS SUNDAY the Italian Heritage FESTIVAL!
The event will take place by St. Leo Church right in the Little Italy neighborhood in Baltimore city. As you can see there will be many fun things (CAR SHOW with Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, etc.), VINO & LIVE MUSIC a BOCCE tournament, a mini ITALIAN Lessons and live workshops about Italian culture (How to make LIMONCELLO) and also historical lectures about Little Italy HISTORY. Prof. Applauso will be giving a lecture in Little Italy about the history of the diaspora of Italians in Baltimore and Maryland. Don't MISS IT!! Today marks the day when Dante died in Ravenna 700 years ago: September 14, 1321. It is also the day when the Canto per Canto project is complete (proprio oggi!). I would like to invite you to listen to this online project with which I collaborated since last year. We are resuming our Italian STEAM courses for children starting next month at Mays Chapel Elementary school in Timonium Maryland! We serve all children enrolled in the BCPS system. The program is the ONLY Italian after school program available for children in the Baltimore County area and it is through the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks.
