TODAY WE PUT UP L'ALBERO DI NATALE! Italians traditionally put up their Christmas trees on December 8th, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, marking the official start of the holiday season! LE FESTE NATALIZIE sono ufficialmente iniziate!

Wonderful potluck with our Beginning Italian language class! The students brought some homemade food and drinks from their home to our Center! Grateful to have such dedicated and engaged students!    Prof. Applauso had an AMAZING TIME AT THE Italian American Civic Club of Maryland in Baltimore city LAST NIGHT for the FEAST OF THE SEVEN FISHES! Grazie a Joe DiPasquale for preparing the delicious food!  Our intermediate students MADE HOMEMADE GNOCCHI LAST NIGHT with prof.ssa AGATA! A FUN AND INSTRUCTIVE LESSON!  Prof. Applauso is happy to share that the song "ROMAGNA MIA" has made its way in COLOMBIA as he sung it with the students at the University of Antonio Camacho! Prof. Applauso is currently in Calì, Colombia engaged with the Unicamacho governmental funding to enhance English as a Second language at the Centro De Idiomas and had the chance to also teach some Italian language to the 7,000 students enrolled in this international program funded by the Colombian Government! So grateful to have such amazing students who came to see Prof. Applauso at our table and attended his lecture. We have more than 40 students who came by and said hi.
