Did you know that one of the largest food fights in the world took place last week in ITALY? GRAZIE MILLE A BRENDAN for sending this video about the Carnevale di Ivrea, which features the "battaglia delle arance" which is one of the largest food fights in the world! The festival features a historic three-day festival that reenacts a medieval uprising against tyranny. Based on the 12th-Century rebellion sparked by a local eroina VIOLETTA (the miller's daughter) who refused to concede to the Lord's droit du seigneur (the right of the first night with newlywed commoners).
