Last Saturday the Applauso Italian Learning Center proudly sponsored and attended the Associated Italian American Charities of Maryland Dinner Dance; we had about 800 guests in attendance; the biggest event in the entire Baltimore County area! Proud to be part of this important Charitable organization that raises money for many universities (including Morgan State U), hospitals, non-profit organizations across the whole state of Maryland!
Prof. Applauso is currently in Spain at the top Spanish institution Complutense University in Madrid to present his research on HEALING AND BELONGING IN BLACK-OWNED CULTURAL SPACES IN ITALY AND SPAIN: What an honor to be here!

Proud of our Assistant Instructor Antonio who yesterday received an award for Carpentry and the Maryland State Seal Medal for Biliteracy having attained the highest level of proficiency in Italian language from George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology! BRAVISSIMO ANTONIO!!

Thanks to our student Zarmin for bringing Limoncello to class today! We had a verb boot camp lesson and it really helped everybody to relax and conjugate our verbs! Never thought that Limoncello could be helpful in learning Italian grammar!🤣☺️
