Very excited to offer a fun & engaging contemporary Italian comedy movie class! Last night we watched l'ora legale: a mordant political satire set in Sicily! Here are the movies we'' re watching'/discussing. There is still room for any interested intermediate/advanced students of Italian to enhance conversation skills!

The Italian STEAM course for children at Mays Chapel Elementary is almost SOLD out! We have a full class of children (5-12 Years old) from different public schools in the Baltimore County area (a few from Pennsylvania too)! This week we made CANNOLI and learn numbers with the card game UNO!! A collaborative, FUN and ENGAGING class! Join us if you are interested ([email protected] or 443-4626953)      LAST CALL: We still have some space available in our Italian language Steam class for children (age 5 to 12) THIS WEEK (on Thursday October 14 at 4:45 p.m. in Mays Chapel Elementary (Baltimore County); in the STEM LAB ROOM. The program will be 6-weeks long, and end in late November (before Thanksgiving). It is founded on science, technology, engineering, business, art, mathematics, and entrepreneurship. Email us at [email protected] or call us 443 4626953 if you are interested to join! On the first day we will go over basic rules about pronunciations and phonetics and do some live singing. Next week we will make cannoli and later on homemade gnocchi, and later recreate together the Italian volcano Vesuvius, and then learn about Italian fashion and astronomy; and play bocce at the end of the course!    Wonderful time at the Italian Heritage Festival in Baltimore! Prof. Applauso gave a lecture about the history of Little Italy and Italians in Maryland and we had a table to promote our Center! Very grateful to have been part of this important celebration!       |
