Very grateful for being able to teach Italian to our great community: from the public schools to online and in person classes: ALL levels and ALL ages! Here is a picture from our last Italian STEAM class a week ago! Grazie Lea Puliti and Sherri Reding Marder and Principal Coco (as well as Antonio) for your support for this program at Mays Chapel Elementary! We had about 10 children enrolled from 6 to 13 years old!
We are happy to offer an Italian 101 beginning class online only with our instructor Viviana! The class is fun and engaging and is ALL SOLD OUT! It is going to finish in a few weeks. We are looking forward to start a new one in January 2022!
In the STEAM children class we made homemade potato gnocchi from scratch and learned about planets and the solar system. Fun and engaging class at Mays Chapel Elementary! Many thanks to Principal Coco for taking the first picture and supporting this afterschool Italian program!
The children had a blast last week in the after-school Italian program at Mays Chapel Elementary with our lesson on cloth and Euro. They learned how to negotiate in Italian, buy and sell cloth at the open market, and also practiced the value of Euro and adjective/noun agreement with cloth vocabulary. They also practiced and collaborated with WRITING words and FULL SENTENCES IN ITALIAN! Tonight we will focus on planets, astronomy and the Solar System and make some homemade GNOCCHI!
